The main purpose of this job is to coordinate and provide processing of backup during periods of high volume and staff absences for various functions of higher complexity.
Essential Functions
Process all daily wealth accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Perform end of day balancing routines, publish projected cash for final balancing daily as needed and monitor and post entries
Assist internal customers with processing questions as needed
Research and clear reconciliation outage
Assist department leadership to ensure processes and audits are completed timely and accurately
Serve as a backup during periods of high volume and/or staffing deficiencies
Train and develop team members in the assigned area of procedures and knowledge behind the procedures
Learn tasks independently using a wide variety of systems and procedures
Perform analysis on department data to identify trends and root causes to enhance the overall client experience
Independently assist department leadership with reporting as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Intermediate knowledge of banking industry and wealth management operations, including best practices and regulations of reconciliations
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with ability to solve challenging issues and make decisions
Ability to train team members on department processes
Ability to think strategically with a growth mindset and look for ways to streamline processes for efficiency
Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook
Experience & Education
Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
2+ years financial services industry related experience required
