What You'll Do
Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain:
Tractors, trailers, yard trucks, service vehicles, and shop equipment
Complete work orders and basic diagnostics using electronic tools
Repair or replace engine, drivetrain, electrical, communication, onboard tech, and minor HVAC components
Identify needed parts and recommend repair solutions
Follow all safety, company, and DOT requirements
Communicate clearly with associates, vendors, and customers
Monitor fuel deliveries, collect samples, and complete required paperwork
Identify warrantable repairs and accurately document condition, cause, and correction
Process warranty tags and claims per company guidelines
What You'll Bring Minimum Qualifications:
Valid state-issued driver's license.
Brake inspection qualification (per FMCSA Section 396.25)
Vehicle inspection qualification (per FMCSA Section 396.19)
Preferred Qualifications:
2 years' experience in trailer inspection and mechanical repair
Technical school level coursework in Heavy Duty Truck/Trailer Maintenance.
Both Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and Department of Transportation (DOT) driver's certification.
1 years' experience in computer applications (for example, email, spreadsheets, word processing).
Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications are a plus - but we will sponsor you to earn them if you are looking to grow!
