Treasury Management Support Specialist

The Treasury Management Support Specialist assists the Treasury Management team and Treasury Management customers by providing technical expertise on the products and services offered by the bank. This position is responsible for assisting Treasury Management customers with general navigation of products and services in addition to troubleshooting technical issues and inputting data for services for within our core systems. This position will assist with customer inquiries, problem resolution, and requires a solid working knowledge of subject matter related to Treasury Management (compliance, processes, and procedures) to successfully deliver Treasury Management services and perform the following duties.

Accountabilities:

Treasury Management Portfolio Support:

  • Support Treasury Management customers by preparing documents for opening new accounts and updating service agreements.
  • Analyze and provide data to the Treasury Management team as needed for RFP requests from businesses and public funds/municipalities to obtain new relationships.
  • Prepare, update, and analyze customer Relationship Reviews as needed.
  • Provide prompt and courteous response to customer inquiries.
  • Prepare and execute annual audit reviews for risk-based Treasury Management products.
  • Provide in-person or remote product and services trainings with Treasury Management customers as needed.
  • Verify and manage proper account documentation and all requisite agreements execution for Treasury Management Products and Services.

New Business Development:

  • Support Treasury Management growth and strategic initiatives through the service of Treasury Management products.
  • Increase deposits through servicing existing customers.
  • Cross sell products and promote Treasury Management, fee based, services to customers.
  • Maintain favorable customer relations and ensure prompt and courteous response to customer inquiries.
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships internally and externally.
  • Actively participate/contribute in office and department meetings and assigned subcommittee(s) to build on the bank's customer and co-worker experience, positive culture and competitive edge.

Community Involvement

  • Participate or volunteer in at least 1 community organization through membership and regular attendance, networking with members to achieve organization goals, develop personal connections and promote the bank's favorable image.

Other Duties:

  • May be assigned to train existing and new Treasury Management staff.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Special Requirements:

  • Associate's degree (A.A.) from a community college or technical school; or 2-5 years customer service and banking experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have working knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing, and database software programs.
  • Must satisfy banking courses/training required to satisfy regulatory requirements.
  • Travel to customer locations and other branches will be required.
