Perform engineering role in the design or construction aspects of engineering projects and assists other departmental engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Perform design activities requiring a basic understanding of drawings, calculations, specifications, and industry standards and practices covering the assigned work.
• Shall have a basic knowledge of the theory, practices, and procedures pertaining to engineering matters in one or more of the following areas: Civil Engineering Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Communications Systems Computer Engineering Automation Systems.
• Assist in the preparation of engineering drawings, calculations, cost estimates, specifications, evaluations, and requisitions.
• Develop professional work knowledge and abilities in one or more of the following areas: Civil Engineering Distribution Engineering Substation Design Substation Automation Power Systems Analysis Communications Systems Electrical Control Systems Protective Relaying Transmission Systems.
• Develop knowledge of the Company's design, construction, QA/QC, and safety standards and the Company document control system.
• Responsible for complete and accurate record keeping and quality of all work performed. May be required to travel to support work.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

Shall have a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited engineering program or an Associate Degree in Engineering with at least 2 years of experience.
