Hiring Pay Rate: While a salary range is posted for this position, any job offer is based upon a salary analysis to comply with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. The salary analysis considers relevant experience, education, certifications, and state service as compared to others doing substantially similar work. While all offers are compliant with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, there is no guarantee an offer will be at the top of the posted range based on the salary analysis.

The Colorado Address Confidentiality Program (ACP) is a statewide program that provides survivors of stalking, sexual assault, and domestic violence with a legal substitute address and mail forwarding. Under Colorado law, all state and local government agencies must accept a participant's substitute address. ACP services are intended to enhance a comprehensive safety plan and contribute to increased survivor safety.
Since its inception in July of 2008, the ACP has served over 16,600 victim-survivors.
A summary of the duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
This position will provide program support and mail forwarding services for enrolled ACP participants.
This position will sort incoming ACP mail by apartment number and set aside pieces that need to be recorded or researched. Then, the position will sequence mail pieces and repackage envelopes for forwarding to participants. This position will also sort junk mail and assist with restocking printed materials, creating welcome folders, and filing.

Minimum Qualifications:
Experience Only: At least two (2) years of relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned to this position
OR
Education and Experience: A combination of related education and/or relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned equal to at least two (2) years
The exceptional candidate will possess the proven ability or accomplishment in the following preferred qualifications:
Previous State Service related to the work assigned to the position
Previous experience which required the handling of confidential information
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to operate standard office equipment including pertinent software applications; such as Salesforce, and preparing and maintaining accurate records
A high level of competence in MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, Google Drive/Docs/Email
Excellent time-management skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Flexibility to perform a wide variety of tasks, in a wide variety of circumstances and with a diversity of individuals and/or groups
Ability to work independently; self-directed
Experience and/or interest in working at an agency or organization that services victims of domestic violence, stalking, and/or sexual assault
Conditions of Employment:
A pre-employment criminal background check will be conducted as part of the selection process.
Appeal Rights:
An applicant who has been removed from an employment list or removed from consideration during the selection process may request a review by the State Personnel Director.
