Position Summary
At Stony Brook Medicine, the Technical Operations Manager / Electrical - Health Sciences Center (HSC) & East Campus (EC) Research Buildings is responsible for providing management oversight for the HSC & EC Research Buildings.

Required Qualifications:
An Associate's degree in Engineering, Electrical Systems, Construction Management, Facilities Management, or a related technical field and at least five (5) years of progressively responsible management experience in electrical systems, construction, maintenance, or structural systems operations. Or in lieu of an Associate's degree, at least ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in the management, maintenance, or oversight of electrical and/or structural systems, including supervisory or managerial responsibilities.
Preferred:
Hospital, healthcare, and/or medical setting experience.

Anticipated Pay Range:
The salary range (or hiring range) for this position is $110,000 - $120,000 / year.
The above salary range represents SBUH's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. The specific salary offer will be based on the candidate's validated years of comparable experience. Any efforts to inflate or misrepresent experience are grounds for disqualification from the application process or termination of employment if hired.
Some positions offer annual supplemental pay such as:
Location Pay for UUP full-time positions ($4,000).
