Radar Systems Engineer

We are looking for a Radar Senior Principal Systems Engineer to support the Missile Defense Sensors department. This department provides subject matter expertise for concept development, architectural design, requirements generation & flow-down, modeling and simulation, systems analysis, integration, test and evaluation of world-class Missile Defense & Sensor Systems to be achieved through our people, processes, technology and performance.

What You Will Do: You will be working as part of a team to define radar system requirements, design architectures and algorithms in support of those requirements and collaborate with software development teams to ensure effective implementation.

Some specific responsibilities:

• Analyzing radar system performance data with respect to requirements
• Identifying performance deficiencies and proposing solutions
• Defining and prototyping new algorithms to enhance system performance
• Presenting plans, designs and system performance to peers, internal leadership and external customers
• Providing subject matter expertise to agile software development teams to ensure proper implementation of requirements

You will be completing the above responsibilities in one or more capability areas including:

• Electronic Protection, signal processing, applied mathematics
• Hypersonic threat defense
• Tracking, discrimination, search, and battle manager interfaces
• Radar calibration, diagnostics, deployed site support
• Modeling and simulation of tactical software

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Woburn, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100.00 - $130.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
