Develop and implement process improvements to reduce scrap, improve efficiencies, and improve quality across all aspects of the supply chain
Drive continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives to enhance operational excellence
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce defects
Ensures material availability for outsourced product to support OTD goal
Prepare request for quotation (RFQ), analyze and present results, and make sourcing recommendations
Effectively communicates with suppliers and team members on shipping schedules and revises ERP system accordingly
Identifies future supply shortages and investigate remedies with the supplier, production, quality, and other supporting functions
Administrative / support responsibilities including but not limited to creation of purchase orders and purchase order receiving
Fully supports ISO 9001:2015 quality objectives and operates according to established policies and procedures. Makes recommendations as necessary.
Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications: BSME or equivalent four-year degree with Supply Chain focus
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to read diagrams and prints
Ability to manage projects
Attendance and punctuality at work are essential functions of this position
