Functions as an administrative expert and is responsible and accountable for all elements of the Community Care process when providing or supervising administrative staff. The primary purpose of this position is to provide overall operational and administrative support to the Chief and or Assistant Chief of Community Care. Responsibilities include demonstrating leadership skills, understanding processes and procedures, collaborating with others, supporting compliance with standards, leading professional development, managing the unit, collaborating with healthcare professionals, ensuring appropriate staffing, promoting performance improvement, collecting and preparing information for reports, planning and coordinating orientation and training, facilitating staff education, participating in team meetings, conducting regular staff meetings, collaborating with Employee Relations, counseling and providing feedback, working in partnership with the union, creating daily assignments, monitoring workflow, completing quality assurance audits, adhering to performance standards, consulting management, and completing necessary training requirements. The position may also involve travel and support coverage on other campuses and CBOCs based on mission and need. Work schedule is 7:30am - 4:00pm.
