Supervisory Management Analyst (Business Operations)

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY MANAGEMENT ANALYST (BUSINESS OPERATIONS) located in the Business Operations Branch (1160), within the Business Management Division (1100C), within the Corporate Operations Department (1100) at Mid Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC).

Responsibilities:

You will direct team workflow by establishing project schedules, assigning tasks to subordinates, and managing all related administrative duties. You will manage all aspects of employee relations, including conflict resolution, grievance referrals, and disciplinary measures, to ensure a respectful and productive work environment. You will foster a culture of high performance by mentoring and coaching subordinates, identifying developmental opportunities, and promoting effective teamwork. You will drive mission success by collaborating with department leaders to report critical needs and provide customer-focused support beyond primary branch responsibilities.

Qualifications:

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

  • Experience directing metric data collection and quantitative analysis to enhance process efficiency and mission readiness for naval vessel repair programs.
  • Experience advising senior leadership and external stakeholders on resource allocation and strategic planning throughout the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process, including what is entailed during the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) Cycle and the Department of the Navy (DON) Cycle to allow for accurate modeling of future budgets to assist command leadership in capacity planning.
  • Experience creating future budget models by analyzing the Capability Plan (CP) to align resources with validated workload requirements across the Future Years Defense Program (FYDP).
  • Experience preparing and presenting decisive written and oral reports, briefs, and guidance to communicate analytical findings and strategic recommendations to key stakeholders.
  • Experience leading and mentoring subordinate teams by establishing project priorities, assigning workloads, and providing technical and administrative guidance to ensure mission success.
