The Client Connections team is empowered to prioritize engineering-driven initiatives with a focus on reducing complexity and accelerating the velocity of the entire engineering organization. Our initial efforts have led to work on diverse projects, including defining and building release and test strategies, enhancing the local development experience, and creating microservice templates. This role presents significant opportunities to shape the engineering operations at EnergyHub.

Your ability to balance multiple constraints while ensuring long-term flexibility will be crucial.
7+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably with prior staff-level responsibilities. Passionate about automation and building resilient products. Enthusiasm for building software and system integrations to bridge the gaps between our core infrastructure and the software we deliver to our customers. Proficiency in Java (preferably Java 11+) and experience with at least one scripting language (e.g., Python3). Ability to work across team boundaries to identify and solve pain points that affect engineering velocity, system resilience, and system/service performance. Strong problem-solving skills, capable of balancing multiple use cases while enabling flexibility.
Experience with Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, MongoDB, AWS, and Robot Framework. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern software development practices. Proven ability to deliver high-quality, iterative value while maintaining execution speed. Strong communication skills, with an emphasis on cross-functional collaboration and working on challenging technical problems.
