Hybrid Automation Test Engineer

We are looking for a Hybrid Automation Test Engineer who will primarily focus on test automation but may also contribute to C# development or C# / Angular UI test automation as needed. This role offers flexibility to work on new feature development and automation backlog grooming while ensuring high-quality software delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

• Design and implement automated tests for UI and backend systems using Selenium and other frameworks.
• Contribute to C# development and Angular UI test automation when required.
• Help groom the automation backlog, identify high-priority tasks, and assist in planning.
• Debug automation failures on Linux-based CI/CD build agents.
• Collaborate with Agile teams to ensure timely delivery of automation stories.
• Apply object-oriented principles and best practices in automation and development.

Technical environment:

• Languages: C#, TypeScript, JavaScript
• Frameworks: Selenium (UI automation), Angular Electron (nice to have)
• Platform: .NET 9
• Tools: JetBrains Rider, VS Code
• CI/CD: Linux-based build agents

Skills and requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in automation testing.
• 3+ years of experience with C# development (must be independent and hands-on).
• Strong experience with TypeScript and JavaScript. Experience with Electron (web-based apps that mimic desktop apps).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Background in medical device software (plus).
• Knowledge of object-oriented principles and development best practices.
