Sr Software Engineer

We are seeking a passionate Sr Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves enforcing best coding practices, advocating for continuous improvement, and developing tools and templates to enhance processes. You will be instrumental in scaling our platform to handle 1,000 times the current load while maintaining 100% uptime.

Responsibilities

• Enforce best coding practices and advocate for continuous improvement.
• Develop tools and templates for process improvements.
• Scale the platform to handle increased loads while ensuring 100% uptime.
• Collaborate with teams to drive innovation and efficiency.

Essential Skills

• At least 7 years of full software development lifecycle (SDLC) experience.
• Mastery of SDLC, SOLID principles, TDD/BDD, and clean code/architecture.
• 5-8+ years of experience with modern technologies like GoLang, GraphQL, gRPC, JavaScript, microservices, and NoSQL.
• Proficiency in cloud-based architecture and automated release pipelines.
• API-first approach expertise with loosely coupled systems and domain-driven design.
• Experience in managing and planning technical debt.
• Strong focus on quality code and various testing approaches.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Must have experience in multi-thread concurrent language coding.
• Microservices experience with demonstrated examples.
• Front end development experience with Python, TypeScript, or Golang.
• Golang or JavaScript proficiency is nice to have.

Work Environment

This role requires being in the office 4 days a week, with the flexibility to work from home 1 day. The work-from-home day is flexible depending on office presence and project load, with no current flexibility beyond this arrangement. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
