Senior Director, Product Marketing - Workforce Management Platform

Build the Platform That Powers the Frontline

UKG is one of the largest and most trusted workforce technology companies in the world. Tens of millions of workers rely on our technology every day.

We are at a pivotal inflection point.

Our Workforce Management (WFM) business is evolving from a market-leading solution suite into a unified, AI-powered enterprise platform - one built on rich operational data, deep vertical expertise, and mission-critical workflows.

We are seeking a senior product marketing leader to help shape how this platform is positioned, packaged, and brought to market.

This role reports to the WFM General Manager and plays a critical leadership role in defining how we tell our platform story and monetize innovation in the AI era.

The Opportunity

This is a highly visible senior leadership role at the center of platform positioning and go-to-market strategy.

You will:

  • Lead the repositioning of Workforce Management from product suite to unified platform narrative
  • Develop differentiated vertical stories that articulate how UKG powers the frontline
  • Drive evolution of pricing and packaging to support AI-powered capabilities
  • Partner closely with Product, Sales, Finance, and Marketing to align strategy and execution

This role influences portfolio direction and commercial strategy but does not own product roadmap. Success comes from strong cross-functional leadership, market insight, and disciplined execution.

What You'll Lead:

Platform Positioning & Narrative

Define and operationalize the Workforce Management platform positioning

Articulate UKG's differentiation across data, AI, workflow integration, and ecosystem value

Ensure consistency of messaging across segments, regions, and GTM motions

Support executive storytelling for customers, analysts, and field leadership

Verticalized Frontline Strategy

Develop industry-specific value propositions for frontline-heavy verticals (retail, healthcare, manufacturing, hospitality, public sector)

Translate platform capabilities into measurable business outcomes

Refine segmentation, ICPs, and buyer personas in partnership with Product and Sales

Equip field teams with vertical narratives that improve win rates

Pricing & Packaging Evolution

Lead pricing and packaging strategy in partnership with Product and Finance

Align monetization models to platform strategy and AI innovation

Support rollout and field enablement of packaging changes

Ensure pricing reflects differentiated value while driving adoption and expansion

Go-to-Market Leadership

Own global GTM strategy for major WFM platform initiatives and launches

Drive cross-functional readiness across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success

Establish success metrics tied to adoption, revenue impact, and competitive performance

Strengthen sales enablement to support platform and AI-led selling motions

Organizational Leadership

Lead and develop a high-performing product marketing team

Establish strong operating mechanisms and performance standards

Foster a culture of accountability, customer empathy, and insight-driven decision-making

What You Bring:

12-15+ years of experience in product marketing or product strategy within enterprise SaaS

5+ years of senior leadership experience, including managing managers

Experience repositioning a product portfolio into a cohesive platform narrative

Exposure to pricing and packaging strategy, ideally in platform or AI-driven environments

Strong cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to influence without direct authority

Executive presence and comfort working with GM-level leadership

Experience in HCM or workforce technology is helpful but not required. We welcome leaders from enterprise platform companies who are excited to apply platform thinking to a large, data-rich, mission-critical domain.

Why This Role Matters:

Workforce Management is mission-critical infrastructure for the world's largest employers. As AI reshapes enterprise software, the way platforms are positioned and monetized is changing rapidly.

This role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution - helping define how UKG competes, grows, and leads in the next era of workforce technology.
