The Boeing Global Services (BGS) Government Vehicle Health Management Systems (GVHMS) Team is currently looking for an experienced information technology engineer to join our team in Hazelwood, MO.

Our amazing team of engineers develops, fields, and supports platform health management systems for the F/A-18, MQ-25, F-15, T-38, T-7, and proprietary platforms. Our software acquires and manages platform health and usage data, performs health, and usage assessment and recommends maintenance actions. We are tasked with the creation, design, development, modification, proof of concept, verification, testing, and demonstration of products and solutions to maximize platform mission readiness and effectiveness, reduce lifecycle costs, and keep our customers safe.

This role will primarily be responsible for testing and validating the Aircraft Maintenance Debriefing System (AMDS) and Integrated Maintenance Information System (IMIS) applications for the F-15 aircraft. You will have many other opportunities to test similar applications for the F-18 and MQ-25 aircraft as well. The AMDS and IMIS applications acquire and manage aircraft health and usage data, perform health and usage assessments, update aircraft configuration and recommend maintenance actions. AMDS/IMIS acts as a "one stop shop" for the aircraft from flight debrief to completion of maintenance actions. The team is looking for a dedicated test engineer to work with our internal test and software teams to validate the functionality and quality of GVHMS software products. This position will be responsible for planning and executing the testing effort for the F-15 maintenance environment applications.

Position Responsibilities:

Automated testing through Ranorex

Experience with C#

C#, JavaScript to write test scripts and pipeline automation

Plan and lead a test cycle

Develop new test cases based on program requirements

Create and execute a test plan

Write up software bugs with appropriate information for analysis (environment information, data logs, etc.)

Communicate with multifunctional skill teams including software engineers, systems engineers, and hardware engineers

Familiarization with hardware and network architecture including server and client environments

Experience in AzureDevOps (ADO) to track test cases and results

Familiarization with military aircraft flightline operations

Familiarization with GitLab and source control

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

1+ years writing code in C#, JavaScript or a similar coding language

1+ years in software testing and verification

Familiarization with GitLab and source control

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

Automated testing experience using Ranorex

Familiarization with military aircraft flightline operations

Experience working on multifunctional skill teams or Integrated Product team

Ability to develop new test cases based on program requirements

Familiarization with hardware and network architecture including server and client environments

Experience in AzureDevOps (ADO)

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for Experienced: $69,700 - $94,300
