Software Engineer Manager

Software Developer

Join a small, agile team supporting defense-related systems development. You'll collaborate directly with customers to define requirements and deliver cost-effective software solutions using existing platforms and tools. Responsibilities span the full development lifecycle-from concept to deployment and ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and document system requirements
• Build and integrate software for test benches, prototypes, and fielded systems
• Support system upgrades and new capabilities
• Collaborate closely with customers and team members

Required Qualifications

• Education: BS in Computer Science or related field
• Experience: 5+ years in software development, including web applications for thin-client servers

Technical Skills

• C# (C/C++ a plus)
• ASP.NET MVC
• Object-Oriented Design
• Networking protocols (TCP, UDP, ICMP, multicast)
• HTML, JavaScript
• Real-time operating systems (preferred)
• Experience with weapon systems (preferred)

Soft Skills

• Strong team collaboration
• Ability to mentor junior developers
• Comfortable working directly with customers

Additional Info

• Active DoD Secret Clearance preferred
• Experience in multi-project environments and small teams

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $85.00/hr.
