Software Engineer For The F-22 Integrated Maintenance Information System (IMIS) Test Lab Administration Team

You will be the Software Engineer for the F-22 Integrated Maintenance Information System (IMIS) Test Lab Administration Team. Our team is responsible for the security and upkeep of a variety of hardware in the test lab as well as providing support to the fleet. The IMIS product is the ground system for the F-22 aircraft providing capabilities for the ground crews to keep the pilots safe while flying the necessary missions for our nation's security.

As the Software Engineer your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining proper network configurations, maintaining security and working closely with the engineering staff ensuring the lab is in the proper configuration for testing
  • Performing detailed problem analysis of anomalies discovered from the engineers and other network administrators, document anomalies, and verify corrections when implemented
  • Communication with the field administrators ensuring they are aware of any changes and remain in a consistent configuration
  • Traveling to the field sites to perform installations of the IMIS product and training
  • Interacting, planning and coordinating with multiple software development and data engineering/maintenance teams.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with working in a lab environment
  • Experience with performing as an administrator
  • Experience with Solaris
  • Experience with RHEL
  • Capable of performing technical writing

  • Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
    • Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
