Senior Software Engineering Lead

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineering Lead who began their career as a hands-on software developer and has evolved into a technical leader with strong exposure to Generative AI. This role balances people leadership and delivery ownership with continued hands-on engineering, making it ideal for a leader who wants to stay technically active while guiding teams and complex initiatives.

This position is approximately 60% leadership, planning, and operational responsibilities and 40% hands-on development.

Skills and Requirements

-10+ years of professional software engineering experience.

-Early career foundation as a hands-on software developer, ideally in Java and/or Python.

-Strong background in backend engineering, APIs, and data ingestion systems.

-Demonstrated people leadership experience (Tech Lead, Engineering Lead, or similar).

-Exposure to or hands-on experience with Generative AI concepts, tooling, or production use cases.

-Proven ability to balance technical contributions with leadership, planning, and operational responsibilities.

-Strong interest in remaining technically involved alongside leadership duties.
