About the Team & Role: We are the IBS (Integrated Banking Service) Development Team. IBS is a hosted core processing system easily scalable to meet the needs of banks from $500M to $50B in assets. As a Cobol Software Engineer you will develop core versions of software applications for sale to external clients. Cobol Programmers work closely with Customers, Business Analysts, Scrum Master, Product Owner, and team members to understand business requirements and drive research analysis, and design, to deliver of quality technical solutions ensuring alignment with business and IT strategies and complying with FIS architectural standards.

What you will be doing: Cobol programmers analyze, design, program, debug, and modifies software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked or Internet-related computer programs. (Code must be used in core version of applications available for sale commercially.) Ideally work with the Integrated Banking System (IBS), specifically Deposits, Customer Information Systems (CIS) and Bank Control.
