Lockheed Martin Rotary and Missing Systems has an opportunity in Orlando for a mid-career Software Engineer supporting the Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) programs. An ATE Software Engineer is responsible for developing, updating, and integrating software applications on ATE hardware. ATE Software Engineers also support test program development and integration.

As a key member of our Software Engineering team, you will:

  • Contribute to the creation of design solutions for complex engineering problems in the software cycle.
  • Utilize Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) to develop functional, architectural, and detailed designs.
  • Enhance product design to provide added or updated functionality based on operational scenarios and customer requirements.

Please Note: This position requires a candidate who is a U.S. Citizen and the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors of Science in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Engineer field
  • 2 or more years of experience using C, C++, C# or similar programming languages
  • Software design and testing experience in a professional environment
  • Experience utilizing Agile software development methodologies

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with Automatic Test Equipment software development
  • .NET Core development or equivalent experience in other languages
  • OpenLDAP experience
  • gRPC experience
  • Database experience (PostgreSQL)
  • Ability to work in an integrated cross-functional team setting (Systems, Hardware, Integration and Test Engineers)
  • Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

    Clearance Level: Secret

    Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

    Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

    Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
