Software Engineer

The Colorado Center for Personalized Medicine (CCPM) at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus advances the use of genetic information to guide care. CCPM contributes to clinical operations by returning structured genetic information to the electronic health record and advances research by applying statistical methods to genetic data from the CCPM biobank and electronic health records (EHR) data from Health Data Compass to discover how genetic variants contribute to human well-being and disease. Under the direction and guidance of the Director of Informatics Operations, the Informatics Operations Software Engineer will provide an opportunity to develop maintainable open-source software products integrating genetic data derived from CCPM biobank participant samples and health records data, including billing codes, medications, and medical procedures. The analyst supports our clinical impact, including testing and using our platform for return of results. The Informatics Operations Software Engineer will be expected to work with bioinformaticians, clinicians, and health IT professionals to build and maintain clinical and research pipelines for CCPM.

This role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings.
