ServiceNow Developer/Software Engineer

Location of employment: 151 South Warner Road, Suite 100 Wayne, PA, 19087 (role may telecommute from unanticipated locations in the US)
Position duties:
- System Design and Architecture: Responsible for designing and architecting ServiceNow solutions that align with business requirements. They must understand the platform's capabilities and limitations to design scalable and efficient solutions.
- Requirement Gathering and Analysis: Collaborating with stakeholders, including business analysts and end-users, to analyze requirements for ServiceNow implementations. They translate these requirements into technical specifications and solutions.
- Customization and Configuration: Customize and configure the platform to meet specific business needs. This involves creating new modules, workflows, business rules, UI pages, and integrations with other systems.
- Development and Scripting: Writing and maintaining scripts and code (JavaScript, Glide API, etc.) for ServiceNow applications and enhancements.
- Secure Coding: Ensuring that ServiceNow implementations adhere to best practices and compliance standards. This includes managing user access, data protection, and handling sensitive information.
- Performance Optimization: Optimizing ServiceNow performance and monitoring system health to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Providing technical support to resolve issues related to ServiceNow configurations, customizations, and integrations.
- Documentation: Preparing detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, system designs, and implementation guidelines.
- Team Management: Provide guidance to team members on technical issues, bug fixes and formulating solutions. Role may telecommute from unanticipated locations in the United States.
Educational requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems or related field and 36 months of experience as Software Engineer or Related Role working with ServiceNow.
Special requirements: Must have experience working with ServiceNow platform. Must have experience implementing end to end Service Catalog, creating and configuring business rules, UI policies, UI actions, Client Scripts and ACLs. Must have experience performing ServiceNow ITSM administration, configuration, and development, delivering new functionalities and resolving defects using JavaScript, Script Includes and Scripted APIs. Must have experience following AGILE/SCRUM methodology. Must have experience enhancing Glide APIs and Service Portal Development, building REST/SOAP integrations. Role may telecommute from unanticipated locations in the United States.
