Service Technician
A family owned business with over three generations backing its name, is seeking a skilled Service Technician. As a service technician, you will be responsible for providing technical repair and service work on trailers within the facility. Diagnose issues, perform preventative maintenance, work with hand tools, and able to accomplish all tasks individually. From general repair to emergency assistance, this is a great opportunity to work for a long-term reputable company in Norfolk, NE.
Responsibilities:
Performing scheduled trailer basic preventative maintenance.
Installing wheel assemblies and tires.
Completing other basic electrical and trailer repairs.
Diagnosing and performing repairs on basic trailer tracking system (RCOM).
Maintain maintenance reference manual to include job codes, standard operating procedures, and service bulletins issued by CRST.
Operate basic shop tools to include welders, torches, impact wrenches, band saw, scaffolding, ladders, and other equipment as assigned.
Requirements:
High school diploma/GED.
Provide own basic tools, such as screwdriver, pliers, hammer, wire cutters, etc.
Mechanical skills/Construction skills/Handyman skills (preferred but not required).
Own your own basic tools.
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
Benefits & Pay:
Starting pay: $19-23/hr.
