Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in engineering Minimum of 7 years of experience in design & development of large aerospace structures Knowledge in material selection, compatibility, and manufacturing techniques Strong mechanical design and integration skills using 3D CAD software Comprehension of classical stress analysis methods Familiar with application of GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and variation analysis Experience leading a team of engineers Proven track-record of managing projects to meet schedule, budget, and technical performance metrics Preferred Qualifications: Ability to apply structural mechanics principles and develop designs using hand calculations and finite element analysis Proficiency in Creo (Pro/E) Wildfire 5 or greater, Windchill 10 Expertise with analysis codes: Nastran, ANSYS, Optistruct, LS/Dyna, Abaqus Knowledgeable in metallic and composite design and analysis considerations Experience with rapid development techniques for hardware Familiarity with systems engineering practices, manufacturing fabrication and assembly processes, and quality control Experience with O
