BCMC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with knowledge and experience in modern backend technology stacks and a history of leading software modernization and maintenance projects.
Clearance: Must be U.S. Citizen to be eligible for DoD Secret security clearance.
Core Work Hours: 7a-4p Monday - Friday, except Government Holidays
Place of Performance: Onsite at the US Capital Building
Certifications: Must be eligible for COMPTIA Security+
Candidates need to have at least five years of relevant experience in the areas described below:
Building applications with.NET (C#)
Experience developing and maintaining GraphQL APIs
Experience working with Postgres and/or MSSQL databases
Experience building/maintaining system data models/schemas
Experience leading development teams as the Senior engineer on projects
Experience with Agile methodologies, DevOps, Docker (Containers), and CI/CD pipeline implementations
Experience working independently and in a team environment, providing guidance to more junior developers on the team
Experience engaging with stakeholders and gathering requirements
Experience with Legislative Computer Systems (LCS) in the House of Representatives
Experience with developing legislative systems and/or working with legislative data
Strong knowledge and experience with one or more of the following are considered a plus:
Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud technologies
Experience with MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express, Angular, Node.js) and React.js
