We are seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer to support internal equipment that will be installed and commissioned at various sites. The ideal candidate should have over three years of experience in mechanical engineering, particularly in custom automated equipment design. You will work with SolidWorks Design and PDM, focusing on project milestones and scopes of work.
Responsibilities
Support internal equipment installations and commissioning at various locations.
Design and develop custom automated equipment using SolidWorks.
Collaborate with a team of engineers to ensure project milestones are met.
Manage projects effectively, ensuring all designs meet specified requirements.
Essential Skills
3+ years of experience in Mechanical Engineering specific to custom automated equipment.
Proficiency in SolidWorks Design and PDM.
Experience in machine design and automated equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
7-10 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering.
7-10 years of experience in designing using SolidWorks.
Experience in new product development.
Work Environment
The Brooklyn Park site specializes in building custom equipment for manufacturing sites. The team consists of approximately 18 Mechanical Engineers, alongside Electrical Design/Drafting and Controls Engineering professionals. The work environment fosters collaboration and innovation in engineering solutions.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $65.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
