This role will be performed ONSITE in our Collins Aerospace location in Coralville, IA. This is a 2nd shift role that will work 3pm- 12am.

What You Will Do

Manage small projects or processes within area of responsibility. Works autonomously with limited oversight. May provide input or guidance to lower-level professionals with tasks and assignments

Works to influence parties within and outside of work area at an operational level regarding policies, practices, and procedures

Establishes the physical layout of machinery and the most efficient sequence of operations and workflow

Plans the sequence of operations and procedures and documents manufacturing standard work and routings

Plans the allocation of resources, materials, and personnel to establish maximum utilization of equipment

Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, productivity improvement, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems

Perform defect and failure analysis

Lead improvements in process yield, quality, cycle time, inventory accuracy and delivery

Report all manufacturing and/or quality problems with parts, equipment, etc. to the Process support and quality team

Provides technical assistance and training support to floor and technicians.

Work with design engineering in developing new products that are optimized for the manufacturing process

Provides technical interpretation of drawings and specifications

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
