Insight Global is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join a leading diversified industrial technology firm. In this role, you will architect and design complex electronic products and subsystems, including RF & Microwave assemblies, precision analog circuitry, ADCs, DACs, and power supplies. This position spans the full product development lifecycle-from requirements definition through product launch and mass production-leveraging state-of-the-art technology.
The ideal candidate brings roughly 8 years of experience in designing and architecting advanced electronic systems, with a strong understanding of trade-offs and risk management to meet product specifications. Beyond hardware design, you will actively participate in all phases of development, contributing to next-generation, high-value instruments. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Electrical, Software, Mechanical, Manufacturing) to transform concepts into market-ready products. Key responsibilities include schematic design, PCB layout oversight, test fixture development, and supporting product changes throughout their lifecycle.

Skills and Requirements
BSEE or MSEE degree
8 years of electronic design experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in RF and Microwave Circuit Design
Experience with RF specific tools such as Microwave Office, ADS, VSS, Genesys, Sonnet 3D Planar, HFSS & CST
Working knowledge of PCB layout for RF & Microwave circuits
Experience with standard lab equipment such as Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, Oscilloscopes
Excellent communication skills, ability to drive meetings, design reviews, and create content (drawings, slides, graphs) to explain complex systems or data
Ability to train and mentor new engineers - Knowledge of general electronic design including power supply design, microcontrollers, clocking design and PCBA technology.
Ability to understand circuits in the frequency and time domain
Ability to work within and coordinate activities among a cross-disciplinary team including Mechanical, Software, QA, and Manufacturing Engineers
Design simulation analysis with Orcad, PSpice, Excel, Ansys tools, MATLAB or other software tools.
Python, VB or similar scripting capability for measurement automation and data analysis.
Ability to manage your own project or subsystem from a schedule and risk mitigation point of view, cost and materials perspective
Basic knowledge of digital signal processing theory.
