This position reports to: Product Engineering & Quality Manager

Your role and responsibilities:

In this role, you will focus on ensuring high product reliability through root cause analysis, collaborative testing, and continuous quality improvement. You\'ll work closely with cross-functional teams to support both current and next-generation drive products.

The work model for the role is: Onsite

This role is contributing to the Motion High Power Division in New Berlin, WI area.

You will be mainly accountable to:

• Support the Center of Excellence (CoE) team with field failure analysis, including drive product data evaluation, understanding customer applications, and proposing additional field measurements.
• Collaborate with the Product Responsible Unit (PRU) and technical specialists to investigate the root causes of failures.
• Define and direct testing procedures to validate designs, qualify critical components, and verify compliance with regulatory and agency standards.
• Lead quality improvement and cost reduction initiatives across product lines.

Qualifications for the role:

• Bachelor\'s or master\'s degree in electrical engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in reliability engineering, failure analysis, or a related role-preferably in the drives or power electronics industry.
• Strong background in root cause analysis techniques (e.g., FMEA, 5 Whys, RCA, etc.)
• Excellent communication, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Travel - requirement - 5 - 10%
