Senior Electrical Engineer

This role primarily involves supporting the development and testing of medical devices. The position focuses on debugging issues at the power supply and systems level, with an emphasis on testing. Experience in analog and digital design is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and testing of medical devices.
• Debug problems at the power supply and systems level.
• Conduct extensive EMC testing in the lab.
• Ensure testing compliance with IEC60601-1/IEC -2 standards.
• Utilize Cadence/Mentor Graphics tools for internal processes.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (Masters Preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in the field
• Experience with EMC Testing
• Proficiency in power electronics and the ability to debug power supply issues
• Knowledge of analog and digital design
• Experience in a highly regulated industry, preferably medical
• Proficiency in using Cadence for schematic capture

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Candidates from other highly regulated industries are welcome, though medical device experience is preferred.

Work Environment

This position requires working entirely on-site with no hybrid options available. The team is engaged in exciting new device development, with significant growth planned for the future.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
