This is a Non-Employee Contingent Worker Role providing services for TIAA's family of companies and will be employed by TIAA's preferred 3rd Party Supplier. As a Non-Employee CW, perform a variety of moderately complex business planning, support, and project-related duties. Demonstrates an exceptional standard of quality and holds themselves accountable to achieving excellent results.
This role will sit onsite, likely in a hybrid capacity, at the location(s) listed in this posting.
The anticipated term of this engagement will be 11 months. This term could be extended based on company business needs.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Designing and coding screen layouts, printed outputs, graphical user interfaces and interfaces with other systems for data transformation; developing and implementing data loading specifications.
Monitoring ETL (Extract-Transform-Load) production processes. Providing technical assistance on errors, problems, or questions about the programs.
Participating in and documenting cleansing, transformation, and mapping routines. Designing and implementing general purpose reusable objects.
Working with clients to analyze automation, input, and output requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Data Integration & Management: Import and integrate data files into the Seismic platform, ensuring consistency and accuracy of data uploads. This includes coordinating new data integration from central repositories, assessing data quality and certification status, and writing SQL queries to extract and validate information. You'll work with third-party data suppliers such as Markit and Morningstar to maintain seamless data flows.
Project Management & Client Relations: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously across different lines of business, receiving and fulfilling content and logic change requests through Workfront, our browser-based workflow tool. Communicate frequently with internal clients to clarify requirements, answer questions, and troubleshoot issues as they arise, always maintaining a customer-focused approach.
Quality Assurance & Validation: Perform content and data validations during testing phases and within quarter-end update cycles, applying data validation best practices to ensure accuracy. You'll proactively identify opportunities to leverage existing data sets and expand your knowledge of content, logic, data structures, and usage patterns across all user groups.
Technical Consulting: Serve as the go-to Seismic technical expert, identifying optimal solutions for various use cases and partnering with business stakeholders to implement them. This requires a knack for articulating complex technical concepts about content, logic, and data usage to non-technical audiences, helping them understand capabilities and possibilities for their specific needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Dashboard & Reporting Development: Design and build Seismic dashboard reports for business leaders, creating visual representations of key metrics and trends. Develop and share usage analytics with content owners and audience leads, helping stakeholders understand how content is being utilized and where improvements can be made.
Content & Logic Development: Create, manage, and update content and logic within the Seismic platform, including building and testing LiveDocs for data updates. You'll document business requirements from internal customers, including logic specifications, data usage needs, variable content, and slide selection options, then translate these requirements into functional solutions.
