As a Security Officer - Customer Service Patrol in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at an education location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control and visitor interactions, respond to concerns, and document observations with clear communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients and campus community by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate campus resources and/or public emergency services as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols of academic buildings, residence halls, parking areas and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by assignment.

Monitor access points, check doors, gates and restricted areas, and help to deter unauthorized entry, theft and/or policy violations through visible presence and reporting.

Document and report security-related incidents, hazards and maintenance concerns, complete shift activity logs, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

Have 2+ years of security experience.

Be 21+ years of age.

Access Control/Badge Experience - preferred.

Customer Service Experience - preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
