Sales Intern

We are proud and excited to offer summer internships for 2026 across several of our different office locations and are currently seeking a Sales Intern to join our Energy team in Madison, WI. You’ll be an integral part of McKinstry with hands-on experience, mentorship and a healthy dose of fun. Our program delivers depth and real experience so that you can truly evaluate potential career paths within the work we do.

What we look for in our Sales Interns:

  • Availability in Summer 2026 (May/June start until August/September depending on school)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be detail-oriented, well organized, and possess excellent follow-up skills.
  • Must be self-motivated, able to multi-task, and work independently. Must be 18 years of age or older.

What our Sales Interns are responsible for:

  • Proposal assistance and pre-bid meeting coordination and attendance.
  • Help with scheduling initial client meetings and follow-up activities.
  • Salesforce support including account build-out and contact input.
  • Help with industry conferences and events including registration and set-up, working the exhibit booth, and coordination with conference committees and contacts.
  • Market research related to competitors, new offerings and client mission and goals.
