Position Overview
Our client is an oil and gas services company specializing in fluid and water management solutions that support well execution and production operations across multiple U.S. basins. They are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to support technical sales efforts through a combination of client-facing engagement, engineering expertise, and solution development. This role blends office-based responsibilities with field and project-based travel, supporting customers across various project locations within the United States.
The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge in fluid systems and pump engineering, paired with the ability to translate complex engineering concepts into effective sales solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a technical sales resource, supporting customers throughout the sales and project lifecycle
Collaborate with clients to understand system requirements and recommend engineered solutions
Provide technical expertise in pump engineering, fluid system performance, and hydraulic modeling
Support project execution through site visits, system evaluations, and ongoing client communication
Partner with internal teams to develop proposals, pricing, and system designs
Travel to customer and project sites as required based on project demand (up to 50%)
Skills and Requirements
Required Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience
Strong background in pump engineering and fluid system performance engineering
Experience with hydraulic modeling and engineering
CAD or drafting experience
Ability to travel as needed to support clients and projects
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Compensation: $75,000 - $90,000/year. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
