Sales Clerk

Greeting customers and determining their needs and wants

Recommend, select and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires

Answer customers queries and concerns, providing excellent customer service

Manage and maintain inventory, restocking items as necessary

Conduct price and total bills, accept payments, and make change for customers

Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas and complete other general cleaning duties, such as mopping floors and emptying trash cans

Set up advertising displays or arrange merchandise on counters or tables to promote sales

Assist with inventory counts and placement of new products, including new in-store or window displays

Handle product exchanges and returns
