The Sales Associate is responsible for providing quality customer service and driving product sales. The Sales Associate is knowledgeable in each product area or department in our store. Upholds policies, procedures, and standards listed in the visual manual. They must fully promote each sale and/or promotion. Serves as an ambassador of the organization and brand, creating a unique customer experience helping to acquire and retain long-time customers. The Sales Associate is passionate about giving outstanding customer service and promoting the merchandise in stores.
Essential duties and responsibilities include producing and giving extraordinary customer service, promoting and selling services and merchandise provided by the organization, consistently setting goals to grow and improve selling skills and track overall sales, practicing and upholding all company policies, procedures, and standards, assisting in the daily operations of the store, utilizing presenting merchandise to promote and sell goods, consistently achieving and/or exceeding sales targets and goals, identifying and communicating merchandise needs, pricing concerns, and operations problems to store management staff, attending all staff meetings and tech clinics for the store, and protecting the company's assets and financial information by ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of internal control procedures and informing management and/or appropriate officials of potential fraud risk.
There are no supervisory responsibilities for this role.
Qualifications include 0-2 years of customer service experience, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, self-starter with initiative to take on important tasks without being asked, strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and with precision, and being a team-player, passionate about outstanding customer service and selling merchandise.
