SDUK's brands include the Nation's favourite cheese brand Cathedral City plus other well-known butter & spreads (Clover, Country Life, Vitalite, Utterly Butterly), dairy ingredients and dairy free products.

This Business Development Manager, known internally as a Sales Representative, will work nationally to support the development of our newly-created foodservice business, through expansion of our combined product portfolio & unlocking growth through winning new business.

You will have a fundamental impact on 'pulling' volume through our out of home customers by engaging, presenting and creating solution led propositions in partnership with their commercial, chef & innovation teams.

Work pattern: Monday-Friday, 37 hours per week.

You will make contributions that matter by...

• Undertaking market, customer & channel research to scope out usage and application of propositions to deliver insight which helps inform & shape NPDs.
• Engaging & presenting to Regional Teams to win new business or drive incremental volume through our existing customer base.
• Attending exhibitions & trade shows to showcase our portfolio, generate leads & interact with both existing & new businesses to unlock opportunities.
• Developing and building strong relationships at all levels and functions with customers.
• Supporting the general development of the business through involvement in projects and internal initiatives.

You are best suited for the role if you have...

• Demonstratable experience in Sales or a Business Development Manager role in FMCG, Retail or Foodservice.
• Experience in managing and growing existing business with the ability to identify opportunities and win new business.
• Good relationship building and communication skills; internally, cross-functionally, and externally with customers.
• Strong presentation skills.
• A can do attitude and a real passion for working with customers.
