Quality Engineer

We are seeking a talented Quality Engineer with experience in the automotive industry to join our team. This role involves ensuring quality standards are met in satellite manufacturing for the space industry, specifically supporting second shift operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspections and develop quality inspection plans.
• Participate in the Material Review Board and Failure Review Board.
• Manage non-conformance reporting.
• Utilize Manufacturing Execution Systems to maintain quality standards.
• Apply knowledge of GD&T and inspection tools.
• Perform functional testing with an electrical/electronics background.

Essential Skills

• Experience in automotive quality engineering.
• Proficiency in GD&T and inspection tools.
• Background in functional testing.
• Experience in electrical/electronics engineering.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Composite material quality engineering experience.
• Structures experience.
• Experience in the automotive or aerospace industry.

Work Environment

This is an on-site position located at our client site in West Texas. The role supports second shift operations within a start-up environment focused on satellite manufacturing for the space industry. The dress code is business casual.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Dallas, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/yr. The client will pay salary, relocation expenses, stipend, hotel stay for 3 months as well as stock.

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Dallas, TX.
