Quality Engineer
Our client, a Agriculture Products company, is looking for a Quality Engineer for their Davenport, IA location. Responsibilities include:
Using quality tools and practices to establish approval criteria to ensure the identification of quality concerns.
Investigating unit quality related issues and concerns related to product and processes, gathering and analyzing data, resolving/facilitating resolution and implementing corrective action.
Providing work direction to inspectors on containment, quality procedures and tools to monitor critical processes.
Facilitating quality-related discussions with internal and external customers to drive corrective action.
Generating monthly quality reports for monitoring metrics and participating in management reviews.
Helping to identify Continuous Improvement projects (CI).
Requirements include:
Mechanical/Industrial Degree is preferred however not required.
Manager is willing to consider candidates with other degrees and equivalent work experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite is required and additional software/activities can be trained.
Seeking candidates who are team based and have Shop Floor experience.
Metatarsals are required.
50-75% of time will be spent on Shop Floors.
Years of experience required: 2.
