The Project Engineer plays a critical role in supporting project execution from start to finish. This position is designed as a stepping stone toward a Project Manager role, offering hands-on experience in managing construction projects, client relationships, and operational excellence. This project engineer will be on-site full-time with a daily per diem on top of their salary. Organization within a fast-paced job site will be key to excelling in this role. Once the job is complete, you will be relocated to another job site or work out of our St. Louis, MO office.
Coordinate project engineering and construction activities.
Review plans and specifications to ensure project requirements are met.
Monitor production and track costs to maintain budget adherence.
Support change management processes and handle change orders.
Provide field support and ensure all construction activities align with project goals.
Maintain document control and ensure all project documentation is up to date.
Foster effective communication and responsiveness at all levels.
Proficiency in construction management and project engineering.
Experience with design and commercial construction.
Familiarity with software like Bluebeam, AgTek, Vista, and HCSS.
Ability to coordinate projects and perform estimations.
Understanding of blueprint reading, site development, and RFIs.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Experience with Vista for reporting purposes.
This role is on-site in Haskell, requiring the ability to adapt to a fast-paced job site environment. The position involves full-time on-site presence with a daily per diem. After the project completion, relocation to another job site or working out of the St. Louis, MO office will be necessary. This is a permanent position based out of Weldon Spring, MO.
The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $70000.00/yr. Health Dental Vision PTO 401K.
