Program Manager

We're building the foundation for predictable, high-velocity product delivery. We need a Program Manager who can establish process rigor, build shared understanding and alignment between product and engineering, and create the systems that enable us to deliver firm roadmap commitments to the company. This isn't about managing programs in a well-oiled machine-it's about building the machine itself. You'll work directly with product and engineering leadership to transform how we scope, plan, and deliver work.

Key Responsibilities

1. Establish and maintain product operations processes including intake, requirements definition, sprint planning, and roadmap management
2. Create and facilitate rituals that ensure engineers understand scope, context, and business value before committing to work
3. Implement work-in-progress limits, dependency tracking, and capacity planning to enable parallel initiative execution
4. Build and maintain roadmap infrastructure with clear Now/Next/Later visibility across the organization
5. Run quarterly and monthly planning cycles that produce realistic timelines and firm delivery commitments
6. Facilitate initiative kickoffs, sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and review meetings
7. Track and communicate program status, risks, and delivery timelines to stakeholders at all levels
8. Establish baseline team velocity through data collection and metrics tracking
9. Design and implement definition of done, bug triage processes, and sprint closure practices
10. Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives and process iteration based on team feedback and results

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of program management or project management experience building and improving product/engineering operations
• Proven track record establishing processes and practices in environments requiring structure
• Deep understanding of software development lifecycles, estimation challenges, and technical constraints
• Strong facilitation and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience with agile methodologies and practical application in real-world environments
• Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into actionable engineering work
• Data-driven approach to measuring velocity, cycle time, and delivery predictability

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare technology or regulated industries
• Scrum Master certification (PSM, CSM, or equivalent)
• PMP or technical program management certification
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar project management tools
• Understanding of modern web applications, APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS)
• Background working in growth-stage or transforming organizations
• Experience with platform integrations
