Project details:
Test, monitor and/or maintain new processes
Collect data required to make improvements and modifications
Oversee the operations and/or construction of the plant
Use and develop process simulation software to work out the best production methods
Purchase and install equipment
Use scientific principles related to, but not limited to, magnitude, momentum, heat transfer etc.
Supervise plant operations
Investigate and troubleshoot plant/process problems
Schedule and coordinate work to tight deadlines and within financial budgets
Ensure equipment works to its specification and to appropriate capacities
Assess safety and environmental issues
Liaise with installation/project engineers and specialists
Ensure safe working conditions and compliance with health and safety legislation
Job experience:
Degree in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical engineering, mechanical engineering or relevant work experience
Problem solving skills
Great communication skills - verbal and written
Hourly rate: 68-88 Language required: English
