The main duties include, but are not limited to:
Ph.D. degree in applicable science or engineering discipline and 5+ years' experience, OR A MS with 8+ years' experience, OR, A BS with 10+ years' experience or more.
Candidates must be capable of conducting independent technical reviews of nuclear technical work documents in support of Electrical Design Authority work, including the various NNSA projects underway. Ability to work in a diverse work environment. Satisfactory results of a pre-employment screening, which includes a background check and drug screening. Ability to fulfill and promote L&A core values.
Candidates who have possessed an active DOE clearance (Lor Q) within the past two (2) years are preferred, Prior SRS experience and NNSA Capital Projects experience preferred. Preferred electrical engineering/science degree with Twenty-five (25) years of experience in facility engineering support with a minimum of twenty (20) years of experience in design authority engineering experience. Successful candidates will be able to perform the essential functions of the job with reasonable accommodation.
