Thompson River Animal Care Shelter (TRACS) is seeking an Operations Manager.
Duties:
Conduct hiring, supervision of, and training for animal care providers
Effectively communicate with team, donors, customers, and potential adopters
Ensure maintenance of facility and grounds
Manage adoptions
Conduct administrative duties including but not limited to organizing schedules, sending and responding to correspondence, organizing and facilitating team meetings
Problem solve
Skills & Qualifications:
A love of animals and ability to make each animal's health and well being a priority.
Ability to organize, coordinate, and supervise team
Team oriented and ability to empower team
Effective and empathetic communication skills using multiple platforms including in person, via telephone and email, and in writing
Take direction and act on policies and procedures created by the Board of Directors
