Position Summary:

The Patient Services Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting international patients and their families by providing exceptional customer service and non-medical assistance throughout their healthcare journey. This position focuses on creating a welcoming, patient-centered experience, ensuring smooth coordination of services, and maintaining the highest standards of satisfaction. The ideal candidate demonstrates professionalism, empathy, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, service-oriented healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and assist international patients and families with professionalism and care.
  • Handle inquiries related to hospital services, hours, directions, and staff.
  • Prepare and distribute welcome packets with hospital and local information.
  • Arrange hotel accommodations, transportation, and visa-related support.
  • Maintain a clean, organized patient lounge and manage amenities.
  • Track visitor activity, services provided, and parking validations.
  • Process vendor check requests and purchase requisitions.
  • Collaborate with departments to meet language, dietary, and religious needs.
  • Ensure HIPAA compliance and safeguard patient privacy.
  • Build and maintain local resource and vendor networks.
  • Collect and manage patient and family satisfaction surveys.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum 3 years of customer service or hospitality experience (healthcare preferred).
  • Proven ability to manage and resolve complex service requests.
  • Experience working with executives and international clientele.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organization, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work on-site with start times between 8:00-9:30 a.m.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in international patient programs or luxury hospitality.
  • Multilingual and culturally sensitive.
  • Familiarity with hospital operations and patient coordination services.

  • Shift Flexibility: Start times between 8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.
