Mechanical Engineer

This position provides engineering knowledge and expertise to the Technical Services department with a focus on consumer products. It requires both technical and interpersonal aptitude to initiate and complete assignments related to product performance and customer service.

Responsibilities

Conduct technically valid field investigations and communicate results effectively, coordinating follow-ups.

Provide technical training to field sales staff and customers, participating in the design and creation of training materials.

Organize and plan training sessions, working with vendors to cover necessary material and demonstrate increasing skill with technical information.

Utilize engineering knowledge to support internal projects and provide technical support to internal staff and customers.

Coordinate vendor activities to achieve goals within predetermined timelines and resource limits.

Complete other tasks as required by Technical Services management.

Work Environment

This is a high-travel role, with 50% of time spent onsite with customers. Typically, you will be home for weekends. The role offers the opportunity to work directly with clients and ensures no shortage of work.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cornelius, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
