Mechanical Design Engineer (Einfochips Inc.)

System Integration & Mechanical Design: Lead mechanical design and integration of injector head and support assemblies involving BLDC motors, gear-pulley mechanisms, and electronic subsystems. Assess materials and components used in both electrical and mechanical hardware.

3D CAD & Tolerance Stack-up: Create and manage detailed CAD models. Perform dimensional tolerance stack-up and apply GD&T principles to ensure mechanical integrity, manufacturability, and precision.

Thermal & Structural Analysis: Conduct thermal management studies and structural FEA to validate performance, reliability, and compliance with medical device standards.

Cable Management: Design and route cable harnesses and tubing within constrained assemblies, ensuring safety, serviceability, and EMC compliance.

Material & Manufacturing Selection: Identify suitable materials, surface finishes, and manufacturing processes optimized for high-precision medical environments and ease of assembly/service.

PLM System & Data Management: Manage design data, BOMs, and engineering changes through PLM systems such as Windchill, Teamcenter, or Agile PLM.

Proto@type & Verification Testing: Support proto@type builds, conduct verification testing (environmental, mechanical, and electrical safety), resolve design issues, and release data for proto@type and tooling builds.

Documentation & Design Control: Generate and maintain design history files (DHF), risk assessments (FMEA), and technical documentation in alignment with design control procedures.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with electrical, software, and systems engineering teams to ensure seamless electro-mechanical integration and overall product reliability.

What We Are Looking For:

Strong experience of 8+ years in mechanical system design and integration of electro-mechanical devices.

Proficiency in 3D CAD tools (e.g., Creo, SolidWorks, or NX) and experience with GD&T and tolerance stack-up.

Hands-on experience in thermal and structural analysis (FEA).

Knowledge of cable harness design, routing, and EMC compliance.

Familiarity with material selection, surface finishing, and manufacturing processes for precision assemblies.

Experience managing product data in PLM tools (Windchill, Teamcenter, Agile).

Working knowledge of medical device regulatory standards (FDA, ISO 13485, IEC 60601).

Demonstrated ability to support proto@type, testing, and design validation activities.

Strong collaboration and communication skills for cross-functional teamwork.
