Responsibilities:
Develop and execute comprehensive marketing and communication strategies to elevate the organization's profile.
Serve as the primary liaison with media outlets and museum partners to ensure consistent representation of the organization's identity.
Oversee daily departmental operations, including writing press releases, drafting newsletters, and managing press databases and budgets.
Maintain and update the organization's website using WordPress, ensuring content is accurate and engaging.
Analyze performance metrics and prepare detailed reports for leadership to support strategic decision-making.
Coordinate the development and placement of press statements to align with organizational goals.
Manage and maintain a communications calendar to streamline activities across the organization.
Design and implement effective social media strategies, utilizing analytics to optimize campaigns and identify growth opportunities.
Collaborate with the development team to support digital fundraising initiatives and donor engagement.
Identify and solicit advertising and media opportunities to expand outreach and visibility.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing, public relations, or communications, ideally within an art-related organization.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, including Dreamweaver, InDesign, and Photoshop.
Exceptional written communication skills paired with strong interpersonal and organizational abilities.
Demonstrated expertise in crafting and managing content across multiple platforms, including social media and websites.
