African Safari Wildlife Park, one of the top family destinations in the Shores & Islands Ohio region, is growing rapidly and investing in the future. Our mission is to inspire connections between people and wildlife while fostering an appreciation for the natural world.
We're looking for a creative, organized individual who is passionate about marketing, storytelling, and guest experiences. This role supports and executes marketing efforts that drive attendance, engagement, and brand awareness.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in developing and executing seasonal marketing campaigns and promotions
Coordinate digital and traditional advertising, including social media, email, print, and partnerships
Manage daily social media activity, including posting, monitoring, and guest interaction
Create engaging content (photos, video, graphics, and copy) and maintain a content calendar
Capture on-site photos and video of animals, guests, and park experiences
Update and maintain website content, ensuring accurate and consistent information
Assist with media relations, press releases, and partnerships with local organizations
Support planning, promotion, and execution of events and special programs
Design and coordinate marketing materials such as signage, flyers, and digital assets
Monitor basic campaign performance and assist with reporting
Qualifications
18+ and able to pass pre-employment screening
1--3 years of marketing or related experience preferred
Strong communication, organization, and creativity
Familiarity with social media and basic design tools (Canva/Adobe)
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
