Job Title

Conduct design, analysis, studies, evaluation, and recapitalization of electrical circuits, power monitoring and control systems, electric propulsion, and power generation.

Conduct performance studies, and develop reports, drawings or specifications relating to electrical power and generation.

Evaluate effect of new or modified electronics on overall system performance.

Knowledge of U.S. Navy Power Distribution Architecture.

Review and adjudicate system design specifications, test requirements, Departures from Specification (DFS's), Request for Waiver (RFW), Engineering Changes (EC's).

Knowledge of USN, USCG, ABS and/or commercial ship design rules and regulations.

Minimum of 5 years' documented experience working in one of the following specialized fields: electric propulsion, machinery control, power generation or distribution systems.

Experience in design of electrical and electronic systems for shipbuilding, U.S. Navy, DoD, or U.S. Coast Guard programs preferred.

Must be a U.S. citizen

A secret security clearance
